Rockfish Lacrosse Tryouts!

August 11th, 14th and 18th

2029, 2028, 2027, 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021

A yearly program where youth players are encouraged to play multiple sports and continue to play with their rec teams in the spring (a philosophy that is not shared by many in the county).

2019-2020 UA Uniforms!

We believe in full transparency and make no bones about our values.  We believe in a yearly program that won’t break your bank and that will allow players to continue to play multiple sports, while still keeping the stick in their hands year round (for our youth teams).  We also believe in keeping the rec programs alive and thriving, so in the spring, we practice only once a week and play on Sundays, allowing your kids to play on the rec team in which they will most likely play with their friends that will be going to high school with.   Cost you ask? around $1350 for youth and $1550 for high school players.

Meet head coach Mike McNeill!!! Coaching up our 2024 team. We are so lucky to have Coach Mike as a part of our team and we want to give him a huge shout out and warm welcome to the Rockfish Family!!!!

Coach Mike's Bio:
I Started off playing lacrosse at early age at Davidsonville Gators. Although I was offered many scholarships at local private school for lacrosse, my football and basketball coaches would not let me continue lacrosse. I played all four years of Varsity basketball and football, but always had a lax stick in my hands and during my spare time, I beat up on the varsity lacrosse teams when I could. I've been coaching lax and other youth sports for over 8 years at SCYA. Since I have been coaching at SCYA, I have turned the program around to a winning program, going undefeated for two years, Winning the Bilderback tournament and either making the playoffs or championship ever year. I believe passionately about teaching the boys about sportsmanship and brotherhood/family. My motto is One Team, One Heart, One Soul!

I'm very excited about being a part of the Rockfish Family and getting our players ready to compete at the highest level of their respective High Schools they will be attending in a year!
